The Weekly Bad Picture Of Good Food: Duck Breast and Confit Leg With Golden Lentil Ragout From Lupo By Wolfgang Puck

Inspiration takes on many forms.  From the catastrophic destruction of Leningrad by Hitler’s army, which Stalin later finished off, we get one of the greatest symphonies ever composed in Dimitri Shostakovich’s Seventh. From a little white house in Eldon, Iowa came Grant Wood’s inspiration for what would become one of the most well-known portraits in history with American Gothic .  And…from the one of the most dangerously dumb dingbats in political history came the inspiration for one of the great pieces of film in recent times with Who’s Nailin’ Paylin!  Fortunately for those of us in Las Vegas, Chef Eduardo Perez‘ recent trip to Alba and Tuscany inspired a fabulous 5-course limited time tasting menu (available through December 16th).  Unfortunately for all of us, the iPhone’s photographing capability must have got its inspiration from Playskool, thus making the Duck Breast and Confit Leg With Golden Lentil Ragout from Lupo By Wolfgang Puck at Mandalay Bay this week’s Weekly Bad Picture Of Good Food.
